Dr. Michael Davidson, 44, is shot and killed at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

A heart surgeon and father of three, he is killed in a second-floor examination room by Stephen Pasceri, 55, whose late mother had been a patient of Davidson’s. Pasceri, an Army veteran and father of four, then shoots and kills himself.
